Regifting? Guilty! Duplicate books often are rewrapped. Or food items: while my friends know I loveloveLOVE chocolate with a burning passion, they also forget about my distaste for mixing chocolate with mint. Mint is a dental hygiene flavour, why anyone would think you should mix the cleaning flavour of toothpaste with the decadent rich goodness of chocolate escapes me.
ReplyDelete... On the other hand, maybe my friends conveniently 'forget' my mint preference, to improve their odds of receiving regifted mint-chocolate goodies!
Yep I too am guilty!!! One year I received a very annoying singing/dancing Santa from the work KK which we re-gifted to my husbands sister!! And even better she LOVED it!!! And I too have been known to re-gifted duplicate books and toys!!
ReplyDeleteYep, another re-gifter here. If I ever receive kitchen items like oven mitts or tablecloths that aren't to my taste (more and more these days!) I regift them to either an auntie that would appreciate the design, or send them to relos over seas.
ReplyDeleteNot going to admit to it.. but my brothers have been regifting the same pair of boxer shorts back and forth to each other for birthdays and christmas for the last 3 years!
ReplyDeleteEntry for Jessic C: I have only done it once and I had been given a statue that I didn't like very much, so after a few years of having put away I thought I would give to a friend for Christmas as money was tight but I had forgot she was the one who had bought it for me in the first place =) lucky she liked it and forgave me..
