  1. A glass of champagne is a great festive drink. I like to jazz it up with an hibiscus flower too...watching the little bubbles rise up out of the flower is very magical!

  2. As a kid we'd always have sparkling grape juice with Christmas lunch or dinner. It was a real treat! It's one of those drinks that still remind me of special family times.

  6. traditionally we drink a Chilean drink called "Cola de Mono" which means Monkey's Tail, and is a milky, creamy coffee alcoholic concoction which I look forward to every year. This year, I've decided to make it for our celebrations... here's a link for anyone who's interested: http://www.food.com/recipe/cola-de-mono-tail-of-the-monkey-50828

  7. Christmas in Europe means a glass or two of hot mulled wine... mmmm :-) But since I've been bfeeding for the last oh so many christmasses, my substitute for this is a glass of piping ht milk, with real Belgian chocolate chunks melted into it - a yummy hot chocolate!

  8. Cannot go past a traditional egg-nog with a bit of kick (baileys) to warm up the cockles. My dad would describe this with the cheekiest of grins "Want a big of egg nog with a little a-ha!"
